Marissa’s Makery started out as a passion project in late 2023 and quickly turned into something much more! After seeing the joy her plushies brought to others, the creator, Marissa, decided to start a business selling her creations! When she joined an organization in 2024 called Student-Made, her business took off! She learned new ways to advertise her products, created new products, and made new connections along the way.

Since the Makery has taken off, Marissa has focused on updating products to give each of her customers the best quality plushie! There’s certainly been lots of changes as she continues to perfect her craft, but she’s come a long way from the start.
